Same Throne, different dictator 2011. The Quest for snacks.
Hey all. So we are going to embark on our first West Coast tour in early March. Since there are less than a handful of rad Seattle bands we would want to take with us (we would not be one of those bands), the decision was an obvious one. We are heading out the two piece destruction machine Same-Sex Dictator. This is a special choice, especially for this writer, having been good friends and one time roomates with these dudes. They released their crushing LP in 2010 entitled "beneathyouitdevours", and folks, it is indeed a crusher. The dates are tentative, but everyone is a go on the dates, which are currently being handled. There are already talks of random fighting games to be played, and random beat downs of the members of both parties. The routing is going to go through the southwestern states, and up through the Rocky Mountains. An easy one you know? I know that I am going to be prepared with vacuum packed Indian food, which has been a tried and tested method of pissing off band members of past tours. Should be neat.
Bill has a side band with our once auxillary guitarist Pam, which I hear is going to be a heavy HopeCon/Refused style project. I am pretty excited to hear this banger. I am keeping sane playing drums in three bands right now, and there is the possibility other tours might be happening when I get back from Thailand. If I don't shoot myself, see you on the road.
I watched Star Trek V for the first time in what feels like twenty years. Horrible.

Satan never ate his vegetables.
Welcome to the all new Throne of Bone blog page. We will be updating this bad boy regularly (not likely) and on a consistent basis. As you can see, our URL is "Throne of Bone 666", which we, the members of The mighty Throne think Satan was a pathetic retard and that it reflects upon his followers. We are also deeply religious, demonstrated by weekly Sunday services attended by all members of the incredible Throne. Yes, he is down with the Jeebs!
Now, to get down to the business of Rock N Roll. The almighty Throne recorded it's debut full length early this year with Dave "Pierre" French. The record is titled "Epic songs", or "Triumphant songs", or "Songs of Triumph", or Triumphantly Epic songs". Ask Freiburger, he will lay it down solid. The record is five tracks, clocking in at forty minutes, and filled with the full metallic Rock N Roll hurricane that The Throne of come to be known for. The lyrical gamut is run full blast on important topics such as: bike riding, dragon tears, ancient Sumerian cycling, right wing sympathy, crack ingestion, hating on corpse painted jag off's, and other forms of brain dead chantings.
The record will hopefully be released before our March, 2011 tour, as the artwork is being painstakingly handled, and will come in a gorgeous gatefold record that will hopefully symbolize Throne of Bone "opening" ourselves up to our lord Jesus Christ. It will be a day long remembered my friends.
The incredible Throne of Bone are taking a few weeks off from playing shows, so we can hibernate, and write our Magnum Opus entitled "Pastor of Muppets". The song will be 45 minutes in length, and will be demonstrated in a number of different movements. We are pretty excited for the outcome of this unwritten masterpiece. We are also taking time to focus on our other bands as well, as we are busy men, and our creative blood flows like the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers. Buttttttttt........we assure that you will be electrified, and hopefully die when you see us playing near you. We have a batch of secret weapons in store for your town.
Fuck God. Fuck Satan. Believe in the self.
